I think I have some great news, financially, even though I still have no job and few prospects. Driving ten hours by myself out of the last 44 gave me the time to remember some important things. Of course, it didn’t help my fantasy football performance. That part of my life is still in shambles.

Reading about McCain in “Up, Simba” reminds me of his concession speach in 2008 and how un-McCain-like his entire campaign had been up until that point. I remember getting slightly emotional during his speech and thinking that I would have seriously considered voting for him had the whole campaign sounded like that speech.
